Yes Snide but unlike you I watch every WHU game and know that Paqueta never played more than once or maybe twice at DM.
If you watched games you'd know that the only other team he could have played DM for was Brazil...

I merely pointed out that Moyes said he didn't realise that Paqueta played at DM for Brazil to criticise Moyes. I was told by know it all's goose and Trundle that I was wrong because Paqueta didn't play DM for Brazil...

Go there and you'll see that Football Critic list 7 of his last 50 positions as Defensive Midfield where he scored an average mark of 7/10.

That would suggest you have no idea if he's played DM for Brazil or not. A bit like what you're criticising Moyes for.

Before we bought him Paqueta had only played for Brazil as a No 10 or LW, and only played a deeper role in the World Cup, so this idea that Moyes should have known that he played in a position he hadn't previously played in is nonsense. Moyes said he brought him in to get 8-10 goals and assists a year, just as he had at Lyon, where he got 11 & 7 and 10 & 6 goals & assists in his 2 seasons there.
Whether when he's played deeper he should be considered a CM or a DM is debateable. What isn't of much debate is that Paqueta is more of an attacking midfielder while Downes is more of a defensive one. For some reason, Willtell, you seem to be the only one who apparently thinks the opposite is true.

How am I correcting Moyes? According to you (and only you, it seems) Moyes said he didn't know Paqueta played DM for Brazil.
According to the STATS sites he's never played DM for Brazil, ever.
If Moyes did say that, then it's strange you've issue with it. But you're a very strange individual, so who knows what goes through your dementia ridden head.
